Purpose
The aim of the Department of Chemical Technology of Inorganic Substances, Catalysis and Ecology is to provide high-quality education in the field of heterogeneous catalysis, environmental chemical technologies, development and modernisation of basic chemical synthesis technologies, and agrochemical products. We strive to ensure that the specialists trained by our teachers are ready to use the skills and knowledge they have acquired to solve complex problems in their respective fields.
We strive to provide students with fundamental theoretical knowledge, practical skills and a technological culture. Our graduates are specialists in a wide range of fields and are in demand at all enterprises in the chemical, metallurgical, pharmaceutical, energy, food and agrochemical industries of Ukraine.
Vision
The vision of the department is to become a recognised centre for teaching, research and
innovation in the field of heterogeneous catalysis, environmental chemical technologies, development and modernisation of basic chemical synthesis technologies, and agrochemical products. We strive to achieve this by conducting cutting-edge research, collaborating with industrial and academic partners, and providing students with opportunities to realise their potential and develop their professional careers. We are actively involved in the formation and development of modern approaches, technologies and practices in the relevant fields, which will contribute to the development of society and scientific and technological progress.
The main thing
The Department of Chemical Technology of Inorganic Substances, Catalysis and Ecology is the oldest department of NTU “KhPI”, one of the leading universities in Ukraine, which provides integrated training of bachelors and masters in chemical technology and engineering.
Teachers of the Department of Chemical Technology of Inorganic Substances, Catalysis and Ecology provide a high level of fundamental education that meets the highest international standards in the following areas
