Location
The dormitory of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering is located on Timurovtsev Street, 9a, a ten-minute walk from the Akademika Pavlova metro station, which is three stops from the Pushkinskaya metro station, next to which is NTU KhPI.
Repairs
In 2012, the hostel, as one of the best, was allocated to accommodate guests of the Euro 2012 football championship and major renovations began.
During the major renovation, the façade of the building was updated, all electrical and water supply communications were replaced, plastic windows were installed, modern elevators were installed, fire safety systems were installed, the Internet was connected, corridors and kitchens were renovated.
Rooms
After the redevelopment, each room has its own bathroom: shower, toilet and sink (washbasin). The rooms are fully equipped with new furniture for 3-4 people.
Infrastructure
The hostel is located in a quiet area of Saltovka near the Zhuravlevsky hydropark on the banks of the Kharkov River – a favorite summer vacation spot for students.
Within a 15-minute walk is the largest market in Ukraine, Barabashova, as well as an extensive network of supermarkets and shops.
