About the Department

Currently, the department works as a part of the Educational and Scientific Institute “Energy, Electronics and Electromechanics” of NTU “KhPI”.

Students receive extensive training to understand all the main processes in electricity. The department is the only one in the Kharkiv region that trains engineers in relay protection and automation of power systems. The traditional direction of the scientific school of the department is the measurement of electrical parameters of energy objects, quality indicators and accounting of electrical energy. Many disciplines have a practical orientation.
