Bachelor (Latin: baccalaureus) is an educational degree obtained at the first level of higher education and awarded by a higher education institution as a result of the successful completion by a higher education seeker of an educational and professional program, the volume of which is 180-240 ECTS credits (European Credit Transfer System).
The first (bachelor’s) level of higher education corresponds to the seventh level of the National Qualifications Framework and provides for the acquisition by a person of theoretical knowledge and practical skills and abilities sufficient for the successful performance of professional duties in the chosen specialty
