Stakeholder meetings

Stakeholders are individuals or legal entities with a legitimate interest in the university’s educational activities, either because they are affected by them or have the capacity to influence them

Specifically, the university’s stakeholders include: employers; higher education learners (students, postgraduates, and doctoral candidates); prospective students and their parents; academic and teaching staff, as well as administrative and support personnel

Design, revision, and updating of educational programs

Participants involved in the development of educational programs include:
– the guarantor of the educational program;
– the program (or specialty) support team;
– representatives of employers;
students.

For the purpose of updating educational programs, the university:
– conducts surveys among employers, graduates, and student;
– involves employer representatives in the final state certification;
studies and analyzes feedback from internship supervisors regarding the quality of student training.

The primary mission of the NTU “KhPI” Career Center is to provide a wide range of support to thousands of students, postgraduates, and alumni in matters related to temporary, seasonal, and full-time employment.
The Center’s staff work on establishing connections with potential employers to create a pool of temporary and permanent job opportunities, as well as positions for industrial and pre-graduation internships. They also organize training sessions, presentations, seminars, and consultations on career development, exhibition activities, and promote interregional and international cooperation.

The Career Center represents NTU “KhPI” at various professional events, including job fairs, career exhibitions, and other industry-related gatherings.
It has become a tradition to host events involving well-known domestic and international companies and organizations that are interested in hiring promising students and young professionals.

Students and graduates have the opportunity to learn about different companies, explore current job openings, and receive information on available employment programs, internships, and practical training opportunities.

The NTU “KhPI” Career Center invites students to follow their new Instagram page (@career.ntu.khpi), where you can stay up to date with the latest labor market news and announcements of employment-related events held at KhPI.

These events provide insight into employers’ expectations, offer self-assessment opportunities, and help students gain modern job-search skills.

26.03.2024-03.04.2024        “Factory Games 7.0”    «Ігри Заводів 7.0»! 

This year, Diana Didukh, a student of the Department of Biotechnology, Biophysics, and Analytical Chemistry (group HT-421a), participated in the “Factory Games 7.0” as the captain of the team “Take and Do” within a combined team of students from various Ukrainian universities and different fields of study (NTU “KhPI,” Vinnytsia Trade and Economic Institute of DTEU, KhNURE, and Kherson Technical University).

This year’s case studies were provided by Khlibprom Concern, KERNEL, VAT Ukraina, Metinvest, and MHP.

A total of 34 teams, each consisting of 5 students, took part in the competition. The “Take and Do” team won 2nd place in the KERNEL case and ranked among the top three teams in solving the Metinvest case.

Within just three days, students from different universities and various regions of Ukraine not only got acquainted online but also successfully completed the tasks set by potential future employers and presented their solutions with dignity.

On December 6–7, 2023, the third “Farmak Science Start 3.0” Hackathon took place!

This year, we received over 200 applications from students eager to participate. We selected 3rd- and 4th-year undergraduate and Master’s students specializing in chemistry, pharmacy, biotechnology, and bioengineering from 12 leading universities in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, Ternopil, and Khmelnytskyi. Ultimately, 32 students who demonstrated strong motivation and successfully passed the qualification test were invited to take part in the Hackathon.

Four teams were formed and actively competed over two days. The participants were challenged with a timely and meaningful task — to develop a hemostatic (blood-stopping) pharmaceutical product. The teams not only had to propose an effective formulation, but also provide a detailed explanation of its effects on the human body and the manufacturing technology. Additionally, they were required to analyze the competitive landscape and develop a positioning strategy for their product in the pharmaceutical market. This was a high-difficulty task, especially considering the very limited time available!

All participants rose to the challenge. Throughout the Hackathon, each team received expert support from Farmak’s top mentors — PhDs and professionals from the biotechnology department, product life cycle support, and R&D sectors. The mentors were available and engaged throughout the entire event (even late into the evening), answering questions, guiding students toward their focus areas, inspiring them, and generously sharing their expertise.

We must admit — choosing the winning team was incredibly difficult! Nevertheless, after intense competition and deliberation, the jury selected the team that demonstrated the highest level of knowledge, enthusiasm, and creativity, and delivered the best case solution.

We extend our sincere thanks to every participant in the Farmak Science Start 3.0 Hackathon — those who passed the rigorous selection process and proved themselves to be among the best. We are confident that the experience gained during the Hackathon helped boost their confidence, provided valuable knowledge, and created lasting professional memories!

We would like to express special thanks to the scientific mentors who guided, inspired, and supported the participants, encouraging them toward productive and effective work!

The Farmak Science Start Hackathon has been held for the third time. Collaboration with experts from Farmak enables students not only to deepen their knowledge but also to understand how theory is transformed into real innovations in the pharmaceutical industry. During the Hackathon, young scientists have the opportunity to demonstrate their potential in a real-world pharmaceutical environment, find unconventional solutions, and develop critical thinking skills. The tasks presented to participants reflect the current challenges faced by modern pharmacy and contribute to the development of new and more effective treatment methods.
