The beginning of September seemed quite stressful for our department, but fruitful – four of our graduate students successfully defended their dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in one-off specialized councils:
Karina Bilogubkina on the topic “Ceramic materials for radio engineering purposes based on the BaO–ZnO–Al2O3–SiO2 system” – scientific supervisor Olena Yuriivna Fedorenko, doctor of technical sciences, professor, head of the department of technology of ceramics, refractories, glass and enamels of NTU “KhPI”;
Nikita Maistat on the topic “Radio-absorbing composite ceramic materials based on silicon carbide” – scientific supervisor Yaroslav Mykolayovych Pitak, Doctor of Technical Sciences, professor of the Department of Technology of Ceramics, Refractories, Glass and Enamels of NTU “KhPI”;
Andrii Kryvobok on the topic “Composite radio-absorbing materials based on ferrimagnetic connections” – scientific director Yaroslav Mykolayovych Pitak, Doctor of Technical Sciences, professor of the Department of Technology of Ceramics, Refractories, Glass and Enamels of NTU “KhPI”;
Serhii Kartyshev on the topic “Large-format ceramic granite slabs with increased strength” – scientific supervisor Olena Yuriivna Fedorenko, doctor of technical sciences, professor, head of the department of technology of ceramics, refractories, glass and enamels of NTU “KhPI”.
The heads of one-time specialized councils were – Halyna Mykolaivna Shabanova, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Technology of Ceramics, Refractories, Glass and Enamels of NTU “KhPI” and our graduate Alla Mykolayivna Korogodska, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Senior Researcher
Head of the Department of General and Inorganic Chemistry of KhPI National Technical University.
All works solve important and urgent problems related to science, industry and defense of Ukraine. With their own defenses, young scientists confirmed the high level of scientific personnel prepared by our department, and also strengthened its status, since Andriy Kryvobok and Mykyta Maistat remained at NTU “KhPI” and work as junior researchers at the department, and Karina Bilogubkina works as an employee of the research department and of development at the well-known research and production company Rauschert GmbH in Germany (we talked about it here – https://www.instagram.com/p/C9Wrn2ktT2v/ ).
By the way, Karina Bilogubkina, Mykyta Maistat and Andriy Kryvobok, while still studying at KhPI National Technical University, became winners with their startups of the CIG R&D LAB educational scholarship program from Chernovetskyi Investment Group (CIG), which further confirms the continuity in the training of scientists at the department.
We sincerely wish our PhDs and their supervisors continued success!
