Awards Presented to Young Scientists

Scientists from Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute were awarded diplomas and badges as laureates of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Prize. The awards were presented at a ceremonial event in honor of Science Day, which took place in Kyiv. Six young scientists from Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute received the award for the year 2021, and one received it for 2019. Among the recipients were researchers from our department, Artem Zakharov and Kateryna Bohdanova. During the event, there was a discussion on pressing issues in the scientific field with the Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Education, Science, and Innovation Serhiy Koleboshyn, and the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk.

The prize was awarded for the work titled “Creation of New Functional Materials for Operation in Strong Electromagnetic Fields” to:

  • Serhiy Surovitsky – Junior Researcher at the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine;

  • Leonid Konotopsky – Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Researcher at the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine;

  • Kateryna Bohdanova – Candidate of Technical Sciences, Researcher at the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine;

  • Artem Zakharov – Candidate of Technical Sciences, Deputy Head of the Research Department at the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
