On September 5, 2025, in a specialized academic council, a dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy was successfully defended by postgraduate alumnus Volodymyr Baglay (scientific supervisors – Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor H.V. Lisachuk and Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor L.P. Shchukina). The dissertation is devoted to the development of technology for functional ceramic and composite materials for camouflaging special-purpose objects, which is particularly relevant under current conditions.
At present, Volodymyr continues his work as an Associate Professor at the Department of Radiation, Biological, and Chemical Protection in one of the structural divisions of NTU “KhPI”. He conducts scientific research and successfully applies in practice the knowledge he gained during his postgraduate studies.
