On May 2, 2025, an exciting career guidance event in the format of a science picnic was held in the village of Shcherbany (Poltava region), organized by the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”!
Representatives of the Department of Ceramics, Refractories, Glass and Enamels Technology of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Chemical Technologies and Engineering took part in the event — Head of the Department Olena Fedorenko and Professor Oksana Borysenko.
Visitors had the opportunity to take part in a fascinating workshop called “The Mosaic of Life,” prepared by our lecturers. Participants could create their own artistic pieces using glass mosaic. The workshop sparked great interest — there were so many eager participants that within an hour all wooden bases for the mosaics were used up. Each participant left the event with a unique creation infused with their creativity, inspiration, and skill.
School students and teachers learned about the educational programs of our institute, study opportunities, and real prospects for employment and career growth offered by studying at NTU “KhPI”!
Such events are a great way to inspire young people to choose a modern and in-demand profession, as well as to introduce them to the innovations shaping Ukraine’s future!
