On January 17, shortly after the January holidays, the Department of Electric Transport and Diesel Locomotive Engineering held an online event with students of Lyceum No. 22 named after V. Kavuna, Zhytomyr, Zhytomyr region, the purpose of which was to acquaint the students of the lyceum with the study profile and spread information about studying under the educational programs of Electromechanics and Locomotives and locomotive management of the department, in order to interest them and show the prospects of railway transport in Ukraine and in the world.
The meeting included a presentation in an online format using interactive resources.
During the event, slides dedicated to the rules for admission to higher education institutions in 2023-2024 (in particular, preparation, registration to the NMT), specialties of the department were shown. Unfortunately, not everything planned was implemented. In particular, the kahut dedicated to the topic of railway transport could not be held, because the event was shortened due to security considerations. The department would like to thank the entire school management, in particular social teacher Sofia Martenyuk, for the wonderful organization of the meeting!
