On February 5, the Department of Electric Transport and Diesel Locomotive Engineering held an online event with the students of Lyceum No. 1 named after Lesia Ukrainka, Zvyagil, Zhytomyr region, the purpose of which was to acquaint the students of the lyceum with the study profile and disseminate information about studying under the educational programs Electromechanics and Locomotives and Locomotive Management of the department. to interest them and show the prospects of railway transport in Ukraine and in the world.

During the event, presentations were made on the rules for admission to higher education institutions in 2023-2024 (in particular, preparation, registration for NMT), the specialties of the department, and a kahoot dedicated to railway transport was held, the purpose of which is to popularize the specialties of the department. The winner received a prize from the department.
