February 18, representatives of the Engineering Physics Institute of NTU “KhPI” in the person of Deputy Director prof. Valeriy Konkin and engineer of the department of Continuum Mechanics and Strength of Materials Natalia Kravtsova visited Kharkov secondary school No. 124 and met with students of 11th grade. December 26, 2019 at the Department of Continuum Mechanics and Strength of Materials of NTU “KhPI” the congratulation of the winners of the University Olympiad in strength of materials took place with the participation of a representative of the engineering company Progresstech-Ukraine. On October 28, 2019, the NTU “KhPI” launched the #HighTechSchool project, within the framework of which the presentation of the specialty “Applied Mathematics” (educational program “Computer and Mathematical Modeling”) for future graduates of Kharkov schools was held at the Department of Continuum Mechanics and Strength of Materials. The event was attended by students of 11th grade of schools No. 45, 46, 124, 144, 150 and others. They had the opportunity to talk with the director of the Engineering Physics Institute NTU “KhPI” Prof. Alexey Larin and the head of the department Prof. Valeriy Khavin, to learn about the advantages of modern engineering education at NTU “KhPI”, as well as watch interesting presentations on experimental and computer modeling of the dynamic and strength behavior of mechanical systems.
