NAFTA – Joint stock Company with 100 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and with 40 years of experience in UGS services seeks partners in order to participate in the Horizon 2020 program.

During 100 years, NAFTA (incl. original NAFTA group predecessors) has so far discovered more than 25 bcm of geological stock of natural gas, 3.7 million tons of oil, nearly 0.4 million tons of gasoline and has drilled approximately 2 860 wells. Our Underground Gas Storage working volume after forty years of continuous development including recent substantial enlargement from 2003 to 2012 shall total up 2,5 bcm by year 2014.

E&P Team includes experts in several areas, mainly Geology, Geophysics and Reservoir Engineering, Drilling design, supervision, Technology, Investment and Group of consultants/advisors with international experience. In project/prospect interpretation and evaluation, NAFTA makes use inter alia of the Schlumberger software suite comprised of Geoframe, Petrel, Eclipse, Interactive Petrophysics.

UGS expertise include fields of gas compressors operation, control systems management, advanced automation in regard to newest SEVESO directives /HAZOP methodologies, appliance of modern maintenance techniques and field of state of the art computer aided simulating solutions (various gas flow and compressors payloads simulating programs) ensuring fully flexible operation.

NAFTA can offer various services in the project implementation period, such as: location for testing of new technologies and products, demonstration activities, pilot implementation in industrial settings and skilled engineers in the area of E&P, UGS incl. development of new storage facilities. For UGS appliances, NAFTA can provide a highly sophisticated, modern and unique underground gas storage complex comprising of several entry/exit points, more than 7 (main) geological structures of different operating pressure, broad network of internal interconnecting pipelines and two central stations with several satellite gathering stations, all interconnected into one complex.

Main goal is to develop and test in real life scenario innovative and feasible E&P and/or UGS equipment for the energy industrial sector, which could be used in other production processes in different industry types as well.

NAFTA would be happy to cooperate as a project member and provide for desirable testing conditions in developing heat recovery system for producing electric energy from waste heat of gas turbine driven compressor units. However, if a perspective partner sees another potentially viable technology, we are also fully opened to alternative schemes relevant to our field of work and above mentioned call.
