Research Interests:

Mathematical methods in physical applications, especially accurate mathematical treatment of physical phenomena. Solid state physics, solar cells, and radio physics. In particular: analytical and numerical studies of various types of electromagnetic waves in layered periodic structures consisting from dielectric, ferrite and semiconductor layers; mathematical methods in electromagnetic theory; physics of photonic crystals and metamaterials; optical and electrodynamical properties of periodic structures, fine-stratified structures, biaxial and uniaxial crystals.

Research experience:

My research experience dates from 2006.

I have research experience as research assistant in NTU “KhPI” in areas of electromagnetic mathematical methods and numerical analysis. These resulted in more than 25 publications. The results of these researches have been presented and well accepted at national and international conferences.

I provide ongoing advice and assistance as student support officer to undergraduate students. I have been acting as a student support officer for 5 years.

My MSc research project was a substantive part of the degree, occupying more than 60% of the workload.
