The 5th Anniversary Conference “Intelligent Systems and Applied Linguistics”

April 14, 2016 the 5-th Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Intelligent Systems and Applied Linguistics” was held at the Department of Intelligent Computer Systems NTU “KhPI”.
The conference was opened by the Head of the Department of Intelligent Computer Systems, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Prof. Natalia Sharonova.

The Dean of the Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Technologies, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Member of the Academy of Sciences of Applied Radio Electronics and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Andrey Kipensky welcomed all the participants of the conference.

The students of the department, the participants and winners of the All-Ukrainian Applied Linguistics (Ilya Manuilov, Elizabeth Nagorna, Victoria Chuyko, Julia Tyshchuk, Anastasia Kolesnik, Olga Secalo, Inna Olifenko), and the Ukrainian Language Olympiads (Alina Kruchenyuk), were awarded.

The professor from the University of France Jean-Hugues Chauchat, representatives of the Ukrainian Lingua-Information Fund of NAS of Ukraine, Lviv Polytechnic National University, Kharkiv National Academy of Municipal Economy, Kharkov University of Humanities People’s Ukrainian Academy, National Aerospace University – Kharkiv Aviation Institute, as well as students, postgraduates, and professors and teaching staff of the Department of Intelligent Computer Systems NTU “KPI” participated in the conference.

The participants’ reports were divided into two sections: Linguistic Technology and Intelligent Systems, and Linguistics and Applied Linguistics.
