The great attention of the department is paid to scientific work with students as well as vocational guidance work.

Since 2009, the department has been holding annual Ukrainian scientific and practical student conference on Intelligent Systems and Applied Linguistics.

The purpose of the conference is a discussion of the development of applied linguistics; trends in the development of intelligent computer systems; and promotion of talented young people in science.
