Brief description of the project(inventions):
This development is designed to investigate the antioxidant activity of a food product. This process is expected to be carried out in several stages: the creation of an integrated device for evaluating the antioxidant activity of a food product by coulometric titration electrogenerated bromine obtain coulometric curve, determination of antioxidant activity of the product
The system consists of three parts:
- generator (consisting of a constant current source),
- the indicator (lock current flowing in oragnicheskom connection and communication with the PC)
- software for analysis of the results using a PC
Application area:
- centers of clinical laboratory diagnostics
- therapeutic and rehabilitation centers
- evaluation of the antioxidant activity of the product
Project status:
Developed and partially implemented a device for integral estimate, written program for hardware installation, developed and implemented data processing algorithm.
Implementation period: 10 months
Expected results:
Results of the project will help to determine correctly the antioxidant activity of the product, by that providing the opportunity for correct organization of meal for oncological patients. For result it is planned to obtain:
- The introduction of a cheaper method for determining the antioxidant activity of a food product
- Prototype of a new diagnostic device
