September 13 – 17, 2021

One of the best conferences of 2021 IEEE KhPI Week on Advanced Technology is dedicated to the centenary of the Institute of Energy, Electronics and Electromechanics (held from 13 to 17 September 2021)
Representatives of the student joint scientific society “ELECTROLIUM” took part in the conference as speakers.

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering was established at the Kharkiv Institute of Technology (HTI) on January 21, 1921. The first dean was Pavel Petrovich Kopnyaev. In 2018, the departments of electrical engineering and electromechanical faculties became part of the newly established Educational and Scientific Institute of Energy, Electronics and Electromechanics. Currently, more than 2,000 students study in 19 educational programs, which include 28 specializations in 5 specialties at the departments that are part of the institute. More than 300 teachers, including 75 professors and doctors of sciences and 120 candidates of sciences, provide the educational process for the training of specialists. Since the establishment of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, its departments have trained more than 30,000 specialists with higher education.
