Subjects

The Department of Electric Power Transmission trains students in the state and English languages. This page provides basic information about the subjects taught by the lecturers of the department in English only.

Teaching Leaning Materials (TLMs) – a set of normative and educational-methodical materials necessary for the effective implementation of the work program of the discipline by students. TLMs includes:

  • Discipline Curriculum
  • Synopsis (s) of lectures on the subject
  • Guidelines (recommendations) for laboratory, practical and seminar classes
  • Topics of course works (projects), homework, etc. and methodical instructions (recommendations) on their implementation (if provided by the program)
  • Methodical developments on the organization of independent work of students in the discipline (schedule, guidelines, etc.)
  • Individual tasks
  • Diagnostic tools for the discipline (examination tickets, questions, test complex)

TLMs materials are developed in the state language, in compliance with scientific style of teaching. Materials of TLMs of taught disciplines
in a foreign language, are prepared in the language of instruction.

Syllabus is the study program of the discipline, which includes a description of the study discipline, the purpose and tasks, meaningful modules and the names of the lesson topics, the duration of each lesson, tasks for independent work, consultation time, teacher requirements, evaluation criteria, References.

In essence, the syllabus is a teacher’s personalized program for teaching students in each subject, which is updated at the beginning of each academic year.

The syllabus is developed on the basis of the educational and qualification characteristics, the educational and professional training program of a specialist of one or another level and the corresponding educational and work curricula, taking into account the logical model of teaching the discipline.
