THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIOLOGY AND PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION INITIATED THE SIGNING OF A MEMORANDUM ON COOPERATION BETWEEN THE KHARKIV REGIONAL EMPLOYMENT CENTER AND NTU “KhPI”
The Department of Sociology and Public Administration has become one of the main actors of NTU “KhPI” in establishing and maintaining interaction with other higher education institutions and public bodies. Today, the department reports on its participation in the preparation and signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Kharkov Regional Employment Center and NTU “KhPI”. The subject of the Memorandum is joint activities to ensure the provision of effective social services to higher education students, to promote the social and professional mobility of graduates of NTU “KhPI”, to motivate them to legal employment in Ukraine and to provide information assistance to persons of this category on issues of employment promotion, organization of professional training, including through vouchers for employed and unemployed persons.
During the signing of the document, the Rector of NTU “KhPI” E. Sokol and the Director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center O. Kotukov identified the following priorities for future cooperation:
– development of joint programs, plans and projects within the scope of competence on the organization of employment of higher education students;
– exchange of information and methodological materials on the organization of employment of higher education students, other reference information if necessary;
– providing information, legal and advisory assistance and implementing joint activities on issues of promoting employment of higher education graduates;
– organizing joint events on issues of promoting employment of higher education graduates;
– organizing vocational training at the expense of vouchers for employed and unemployed persons.
During the communication, E. Sokol and O. Kotukov agreed on the first joint projects and discussed mechanisms for future interaction to increase its efficiency.
The head of the Department of Sociology and Public Administration, Doctor of Public Administration, Professor Moroz V.M., was appointed as the responsible person from NTU “KhPI” for the implementation of the potential of the signed Memorandum.
