Varna University of Management (VUM) offers student mobility for up to 3 months (20.09.2025 – 20.12.2025).
For the actual duration of mobility each student will receive an individual Erasmus+ support grant of 606 EUR/month + 50 EUR Green travel support. The actual grant amount will be based on the student’s actual stay in Bulgaria.

– Tourism and Hospitality (Bachelor’s degree)
– Software Engineering (Bachelor’s degree)
– Business Administration (Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees).

The applicant has the possibility to create his/her individual educational plan including courses with a total duration of 30 ECTS.

Dear students! Please note! You can apply through 21.03.2025. But in order to organize the process more efficiently, we kindly ask you to inform us about your wish to participate as early as possible!
Eligibility/Selection Criteria.
- Selection is carried out among full-time students of NTU “KHPI”.
- By the time of departure to Bulgaria (20.09.2025), applicants must have successfully passed at least two immediately preceding semesters of their bachelor’s degree.
- Applicants must be in good academic standing.
- Applicants must have English language proficiency level not lower than B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Confirmation is an internal document of NTU “KHPI”, or language certificate IELTS, TOEFL, etc.
- Applicants should be highly motivated to participate in the mobility (a motivation letter should be prepared for the interview).
- Applicants must be familiar with the Erasmus+ Student Charter (questions related to the Charter will be asked at the interview).
- Applicants should have prior knowledge of the mission, educational programs, student mobility opportunities and other relevant aspects of VUM activities (relevant questions will be asked at the interview).
In addition, at the interview, applicants must submit a list of courses they would like to take at VUM (a total of 30 ECTS).
Some additional details:
– Applicants will be pre-selected by a selection committee. Members of the selection committee are teachers of NTU “KHPI” (21.03.2025 – 10.04.2025).
–Permitted visa-free period of stay of Ukrainian citizens in Bulgaria is 90 days. Duration of long-term student mobility cannot be longer than this period.
– Organizational aspects related to the interview will be communicated additionally.
