INTERNATIONAL STUDENT MOBILITY

Kateryna shared her impressions of participating in this mobility program: “The educational process itself takes place in accordance with the curricula agreed upon between the universities, and the study is extremely interesting, in addition, there are also elective subjects that I chose independently, based on my own interests and desires. Even when planning the trip, I knew the subjects that I would take during my studies. In particular, in the direction of management and business, the curriculum provides for the disciplines “Consumer Behavior”, “Business Process Modeling”, “Digital Media Management”, “Innovative Business Models”, “Fundamentals of Business Success”. In the field of tourism, the subjects “Interpretation of Cultural Heritage for Tourism”, “Functioning of Tourist and Recreational Entities” are studied. To deepen my knowledge of language and literature, I chose the discipline “Gothic Literature and Its Adaptations”, and to develop my creative skills, I chose the discipline “Product and Service Design”, said Kateryna.

Geographical proximity to Germany provides additional opportunities for applicants to easily visit this neighboring country. “Also, during my stay in Szczecin, I managed to travel a lot and discover wonderful European cities. Yes, I have already traveled to Germany (Berlin and Rostock), Poland (Warsaw, Krakow, Międzyzdroje). Such trips provide an opportunity to touch the culture of these countries, to see their beauty. This is both a wonderful experience of language practice and a direct deepening of knowledge in my professional field – tourism business. In addition, the city of Szczecin itself is considered one of the most beautiful and greenest cities in the country – it is truly magnificent, has many beautiful places, many green areas, lakes, which provides full opportunities for daily city walks, recreation and rejuvenation. And communicating with a wide range of students from different parts of the world gave me a great opportunity to broaden my worldview and understand how diverse student life can be,” Kateryna shared her impressions.
