Meeting with representatives of the pharmaceutical company “Berkana+”. Discussion of educational programs.

On March 11, 2026, an extended meeting of the Department of Biotechnology, Biophysics and Analytical Chemistry was held with the participation of students of the specialty G21 “Biotechnologies and Bioengineering.”

Today’s meeting is very important for us, as it is being held with the participation of a representative of the pharmaceutical company “Berkana+”, research engineer Dmytro Bezrukavyi, who is a stakeholder of the educational programs in the specialty G21 “Biotechnologies and Bioengineering.”

Cooperation with representatives of the real sector of the economy, particularly the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, is extremely important for improving the training of our students. Employers form the modern demand for the competencies of future specialists; therefore, their expert opinion is very valuable for the updating and further development of educational programs.

During today’s meeting, the following issues were discussed:

  • current requirements of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries for the training of specialists;

  • possible directions for improving the educational programs “Biotechnologies and Bioengineering” at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels;

  • prospects for cooperation in the field of practical training of students, including internships and the preparation of qualification theses;

  • opportunities for involving company representatives in the educational process, including guest lectures, seminars, and joint scientific projects.

We sincerely thank Dmytro Bezrukavyi for his willingness to join the discussion and share practical experience of working in a pharmaceutical company. We hope that our cooperation will be productive and will contribute to the training of competitive specialists in the field of biotechnology and bioengineering
