On 27 November 2025, the Department of Biotechnology, Biophysics, and Analytical Chemistry at NTU “KhPI” hosted an open lecture delivered by Associate Professor of the Department of Biotechnology at the National University of Pharmacy, PhD in Pharmacy, Olha Serhiivna Kaliuzhna. The lecture was dedicated to modern approaches to the development and application of monoclonal antibodies.
During the lecture, fifth-year students of the G21 educational program “Biotechnology and Bioengineering” explored the principles of obtaining monoclonal antibodies, their therapeutic potential, clinical applications, and the prospects for further development of the biopharmaceutical industry. Special attention was given to cutting-edge technologies used in the creation of highly specific biopharmaceutical products, as well as to current challenges and innovations in biotechnological production.
The lecture contributed to the enhancement of students’ professional competencies and emphasized the importance of inter-university collaboration in the training of future biotechnology specialists.
