Bachelor’s Degree

We invite you to study for a bachelor’s degree at NTU “KhPI”:

✅ Specialty G1 “Chemical Technologies and Engineering”
✅ Competitive offer “Chemical Technologies and Engineering”
✅ Educational direction “Ceramic, Composite, Glass and Nanomaterials for Engineering, Construction, Medicine and Art Design”
✅ A large number of state-funded places (45), with special government support for the specialty
✅ For men, a military registration document is mandatory.
✅ Admission to all forms of study (state-funded, contract, full-time, part-time) in 2026 is based ONLY on the results of the NMT for 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026.

The NMT is a computer-based online test consisting of four subjects combined into two 120-minute blocks:

first block: Ukrainian language and mathematics;
second block: History of Ukraine and one optional subject (Ukrainian literature, geography, biology, physics, chemistry, foreign languages: English, French, German, Spanish).

✅ Registration of the applicant’s account: from March 5 to April 2, 2025.
During the registration period, you need to create a personal electronic account on the UCET/UZOYA website: https://my.testportal.gov.ua/registration/nmt and upload the required documents.

Required scanned copies of documents to upload:
▫️ passport document or another identity document;
▫️ document confirming educational background;
▫️ document containing the taxpayer registration number (identification code).

Each copy must be uploaded as a separate file (.jpg or .png, no larger than 1 MB).
📷 The image must be clear and full-size.

Key changes in 2026 that are worth knowing:

Application limit: during the entire admission campaign in higher education, you may submit up to 10 applications in total, of which no more than 5 may be for state-funded places.
Priority system in master’s admission: the priority system now applies not only to bachelor’s admission, but also to master’s admission, not only for state-funded places but also for contract places.
Importance of creative competitions: for most creative specialties, the coefficient for the creative competition has increased to 0.7 (previously 0.6).
In-person format: assessments at educational institutions are conducted only in person. For bachelor’s admission — an interview based on NMT subjects and a creative competition; for master’s admission — an interview in a foreign language and a professional exam. This applies to all applicants, except for certain categories, such as applicants from temporarily occupied territories, military personnel, and participants in sports competitions of national teams.
European exams: the results of national school leaving exams from European countries are now officially recognized instead of the NMT for Ukrainian citizens.
Motivational letters as part of the admission application have been abolished — in 2026 they are not required.
