On November 22, Professor O. M. Borysenko from the Department of Ceramics, Refractories, Glass, and Enamels took part in a career-orientation event — an Engineering Quest held within the framework of the “Intelectiada,” organized by NTU “KhPI” in cooperation with the Department of Youth and Sports of the Kharkiv City Council.
As part of the event, the quest “Ceramics of the Future” was presented, aimed at promoting engineering and materials science specialties among young people. Participants had the opportunity to complete interactive tasks, learn about modern and advanced ceramic materials, and explore their applications in the technologies of the future.
During the quest, Prof. O. M. Borysenko introduced participants to the department’s educational programs, the specifics of the learning process, ongoing scientific research, and future employment opportunities. Special attention was given to the role of science and engineering in the development of modern technologies, as well as opportunities for professional growth and self-realization in the field of materials science.
The event sparked significant interest among participants and helped increase motivation to pursue engineering and technical specialties.
