History of the Department
The Department was established in 2021 as part of the establishment of the Educational and Research Medical Institute of NTU
“KhPI”. Leading specialists with many years of experience in higher education, including teaching academic
subjects in English, were invited to join the Department of Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics and Immunology.
Priority Areas of the Department’s Activities
- Improving the educational process and practical training of specialists through the use of modern laboratory medicine technologies and digital tools.
- Developing a system of continuous professional development for laboratory medicine specialists in accordance with the current needs of the healthcare system.
- Implementing modern laboratory diagnostic methods and research findings in the educational process and practical activities of healthcare institutions.
- Developing partnerships and international cooperation with healthcare institutions, laboratories, educational and research institutions to implement joint educational and research projects.
Educational Activities
The Department provides distance learning using Google Meet, Zoom, and Moodle, as well as blended or in-person learning, depending on the level of danger during martial law.

Continuing education courses in current areas of laboratory medicine, immunology, microbiology, infection control, and management.
Clinical Activities
The Department’s staff provides medical and preventive care to the population.
New medical technologies are being developed and implemented.
