On November 5, 2025, Mykhailo Kotov, PhD in Philology and Associate Professor at the Department of Business Foreign Language and Translation of the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute,” met with 10th-grade students of Kharkiv Lyceum No. 119. The event included two parts: a lecture, which explored the specifics of verbal and non-verbal interaction among representatives of different cultures, and a practical session devoted to analyzing intercultural communication situations based on a fragment from the film My Big Fat Greek Wedding. The participants discussed the importance of cultural awareness, tolerance, and attentive observation as key components of successful communication across cultures.
