On October 31, 2025, an online session of the section “Electrical Insulation, Cable and Fiber Optic Technology” took place within the framework of the International Symposium “Problems of Electrical Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics” SIEMA’2025.
This event traditionally brings together scientists, manufacturers and young researchers, creating a platform for exchanging ideas, presenting research results and finding new ways to develop the cable and electrical insulation industry. This year’s online session was attended by representatives of leading enterprises in the industry, as well as teachers of the department, postgraduates and students.
The discussion covered both practical aspects of the production and operation of cable products, as well as fundamental issues of electrical insulating materials and SMART technologies. All speeches were distinguished by a high professional level, deep analytical content and practical value. It was demonstrated that Ukrainian science and industry are actively working on the implementation of modern technologies, energy-efficient materials and solutions that meet global trends in sustainable development.
Holding such symposia is extremely important, as they form a single space for interaction between scientists, manufacturers and young engineers, contribute to the renewal of educational programs, the emergence of joint research and partnership projects. It is this kind of cooperation that is the key to the sustainable development of the electrical engineering industry of Ukraine in the context of Industry 4.0.
