Within the framework of the XXXIV International Scientific and Practical Conference “Information Technologies: Science, Engineering, Technology, Education, Health” (MicroCAD–2026), which is held by the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” within the framework of the Days of Science in Ukraine, on May 14, 2026, the work of the subsection “Modern Information and Energy-Saving Technologies in Energy” took place.
During the meeting, meaningful scientific reports were presented on topical issues of energy development, digital transformation of the industry, use of renewable energy sources, modern cable technology and information technologies.
The reports were made by lecturers, scientists, postgraduate students and higher education applicants, who presented the results of their own scientific research and practical developments in the field of energy and electrical engineering. Participants discussed issues of energy efficiency, integration of distributed generation, application of Smart Grid technologies, energy storage systems, diagnostics of electrical equipment and use of innovative insulating materials for cable products.
The reports caused lively discussion and became an important platform for exchange of experience, scientific ideas and professional communication between representatives of the academic community, young researchers and industry specialists.
