Final step: defense of master’s theses – 2025

On December 11, 2025, the Department of Electrical Insulation and Cable Engineering successfully defended the qualification theses of full-time and part-time masters. Our students demonstrated a high level of professional training, practical orientation of research and readiness for real engineering challenges.

Lyudmila Vlasenko (gr. E-M124zk) – 93 A / excellent

Presented a thorough project for the technical re-equipment of the 35/10 kV substation, studied in detail the ASKOE system, regulatory framework and modern technical solutions. The work was noted for its practicality, analysis of real modernizations and correct technical and economic justification.

Mark Milenko (gr. E-M124zk) – 93 A / excellent

Showed a high level of mastery of the topic of modernization of 35/10 kV substations: analysis of structures, problems of old portals, corrosion and fatigue of materials, selection of equipment, safety and technological requirements. The project has a pronounced engineering practicality and relevance.

Pavlo Gorgotsky (gr. E-M124k) – 95 A / excellent

Presented a modern project dedicated to the selection of materials for high-voltage insulation in electron beam devices. The work considers the design of the emitter, the results of electric field modeling and a justified selection of ceramic and radio-absorbing materials. The work is structured, relevant and technically balanced.

All work was performed qualitatively, relevantly and at a high professional level. Students confidently presented their solutions, answered the questions of the commission and proved their readiness to work in the energy industry.

We congratulate our masters on their successful defense and wish them further professional achievements!
