The Graduate of the Department of Engineering Electrophysics at NTU “KhPI” on Receiving High Honors from the NAS of Ukraine!

🎉 Congratulations to the graduate of the Department of Engineering Electrophysics at NTU “KhPI” on receiving high honors from the NAS of Ukraine! ⚡

By the decision of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Resolution No. 35 dated February 5, 2025, Artem Vitaliiovych Makohon, PhD, Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Electrophysics and Radiation Technologies of the NAS of Ukraine, was awarded a certificate by the NAS Presidium for outstanding achievements in the field of electrophysical research. Artem is a graduate of the Department of Engineering Electrophysics at NTU “KhPI” and defended his PhD thesis at his home department.

Artem Makohon began his scientific path in the field of electrophysical research during his studies at the Department of Engineering Electrophysics at NTU “KhPI” under the guidance of Professor Mykola Ivanovych Boiko, Doctor of Technical Sciences. It was here that he laid the foundation for his research, which later became a significant contribution to the development of modern technologies. His work focuses on developing effective methods for applying high-voltage pulsed discharges and strong electric fields for liquid treatment, which is highly important for industry and environmental applications. This research cycle has been highly appreciated by experts and opens up prospects for new practical implementations.

In addition, the scientist became a recipient of the academician B.E. Paton Scholarship for young scientists, which is another testament to his substantial contribution to Ukrainian science. This scholarship is awarded to top researchers whose work has both fundamental and applied significance, promoting the advancement of modern technologies.

We sincerely congratulate Artem Vitaliiovych on this well-deserved recognition and wish him continued scientific success, new discoveries, and the realization of his boldest research ideas! 🚀👏
