The Department of Intelligent Computer Systems is constantly working to improve the quality of the educational process and to prepare for the forthcoming accreditation procedures for educational programmes by the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (NAZYAO).
Today, an important online consultative meeting took place between the department’s lecturers and a guest expert — Viktoria Vasylivna Ryzhkova, Head of the Department of Applied Linguistics at the National Aerospace University ‘Kharkiv Aviation Institute’, Candidate of Philological Sciences and Associate Professor.
Ms Ryzhkova presented a comprehensive report on the topic ‘The work of the expert group in accordance with the visit programme’.
📌 During the meeting, the speaker examined in detail the key aspects of the accreditation process:
- Regulations and timetable: specific requirements for submitting self-assessment reports and key deadlines.
- The experts’ working procedure: the composition of the commission (including the mandatory involvement of higher education students) and the procedure for collaboration.
- Organisation of focus groups: details of holding meetings with higher education institution management, authors of self-assessment reports, lecturers, students, student self-governing bodies, graduates and employers (stakeholders).
- Regulatory and financial aspects: the fixed cost of the accreditation procedure and the specifics of conducting procurement via the Prozorro system.
During the meeting, constructive advice was received on improving the quality of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, which will be considered at a meeting of the department’s working group.
