Native language — the path to victory: Alina Kruchenyuk became the leader of the first stage of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad
For the Department of Intelligent Computer Systems (ICS), the development of students’ language skills has always been one of the priority areas. 2016 gave us another reason to be proud of the level of training of our students. ✨📚
The first stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Ukrainian Language took place in Kharkiv. This intellectual competition brings together the best language experts, who demonstrate not only impeccable literacy, but also a deep understanding of philological subtleties, speech culture and stylistics.
According to the results of the competition, the highest score was achieved by a representative of our department:

Alina successfully coped with complex linguistic tasks and the creative part of the Olympiad, confirming the status of ICS students as true intellectuals who cherish their native language. ✍️🏆
Proficiency in the Ukrainian language is critically important for a specialist in applied linguistics, because language is the object of analysis, processing and automation in modern intelligent systems.
