🌱 Scientific debut: IKS students at the I Regional Conference on Applied Linguistics
In 2011, Kharkiv hosted the 1st Regional Scientific and Practical Conference ‘Current Issues in Applied Linguistics through the Eyes of Young Scientists.’ This event brought together young researchers working at the intersection of computer technology and classical philology.
The Department of Intelligent Computer Systems of the National Technical University ‘Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute’ was represented at the conference by two talented researchers with diverse topics:
Viktoria Druchinina presented a report on the topic: 📌 ‘Combined use of LSA and TRM methods at semantic levels of the referencing process.’
Dmytro Teslenko gave a presentation in English: 📌 ‘The influence of Scandinavian languages on the English language’.
Participation in this conference was a great opportunity for our students to present their first significant scientific results and exchange experiences with colleagues from other higher education institutions in Kharkiv.
Congratulations to Viktoria and Dmytro on their successful presentations, and we wish them new scientific achievements! 🏆📈
