On 23 March, pupils at Merefa Lyceum No. 5 were treated not just to a career guidance visit, but to a genuine showcase of opportunities where humanities meet high technology! 🤝💻
Our department was represented by Head of Department Nadiya Babkova and Associate Professor Zoia Kochueva. Together with their colleague from the Department of Applied and Computational Linguistics, Viktoriya Shapolova, they presented the students with the paths to success available at the Polytechnic.
🎓 What do we offer prospective students?
-
-
- 1️⃣ ‘Applied and Computational Linguistics’ — our unique programme for those who want to teach artificial intelligence to understand people and create smart chatbots. 🤖🧬
- 2️⃣ ‘English Language and Foreign Literature’ — a powerful joint programme with the Department of Philology, where classical philology is combined with modern teaching methods and psychology. 📚

🔥 Why was it so cool?
The students were keen to find out how to combine a love of languages with a career in IT, and what opportunities a Polytechnic degree opens up in the international job market. Merefa Lyceum No. 5 welcomed us with incredible energy and genuine questions!
Thank you for having us! We look forward to receiving your applications this summer. Choose a career that isn’t afraid of the future! 🏛️💎
