As part of the Kahoot! is back! project, our Department of Intelligent Computer Systems (ICS) held an interactive quiz entitled ‘AI — Imba or Just Hype?’
The event brought together dozens of inquisitive schoolchildren both online and in the safe offline coworking space of the National Technical University ‘Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute’. Participants immersed themselves in the world of the future, where neural networks write code, paint pictures and even help with learning.
How did it go? The atmosphere was really heated! The quiz questions forced participants not only to recall well-known facts about ChatGPT and Midjourney, but also to think about the ethics of AI and its real capabilities. The battle for leadership in the Kahoot tournament table lasted until the last second, and the speed of responses was sometimes simply record-breaking.
Our champions: After a fierce intellectual battle, three winners were determined who demonstrated the best understanding of the technologies of the future. They received not only the honorary title of ‘AI experts,’ but also a boost of motivation to continue studying computer science.
We are confident that after today’s meeting, for many, the question of ‘imbalance or hype’ has been answered. AI is a powerful tool, and it is at our ICS department that we teach how to use it professionally! 🚀
