Third Intra-University Scientific and Practical Conference ‘Intelligent Systems and Applied Linguistics’

🧠 From algorithm theory to cryptography: results of the Third Conference ‘Intelligent Systems and Applied Linguistics’

On 7 April 2011, our department hosted the Third Internal Scientific and Practical Conference. This event became a platform for the presentation of ambitious projects covering fundamental aspects of computer science and advanced language processing technologies.

📊 Vectors of scientific research of the participants:

Ageev Turing machines and unrestricted grammars
Vareshnuk Approaches in the development of oral skills
Druchinina Combined use of LSA and TRM methods at semantic levels of the referencing process
Konyayeva Models of syntactic structure of natural language sentences
Neruchok Resource provision for the system of genre-thematic analysis of literary texts
Povrozina Analysis of text encryption methods in cryptographic systems
Solop Use of semantic cases for formalising the semantic structure of a sentence
Khailo Grammar analyser

The conference once again confirmed that students of the ICS department are ready to solve complex interdisciplinary problems — from building mathematical models of language to protecting information.

We congratulate the participants on the successful defence of their research and wish them inspiration for future scientific victories! 🚀🎓
