Objective of the Department
The objective of the Department of Wheeled and Tracked Vehicles is to train highly qualified engineers in the field of design, manufacturing, and operation of wheeled and tracked vehicles, including armored fighting vehicles. The department aims to equip students with the ability to solve complex engineering and scientific problems in the field of tank engineering, foster modern engineering thinking, and develop skills in the design of innovative systems. It also focuses on conducting research that enhances the mobility, reliability, and efficiency of advanced military equipment.
Vision of the Department
The Department aspires to become a leading research and educational center in the field of design and development of advanced armored fighting vehicles and special-purpose transport systems. We envision the department as a hub of innovation where fundamental knowledge, advanced engineering technologies, and applied research are integrated to create efficient, reliable, and high-tech solutions.
The department is focused on training a new generation of specialists capable of working in conditions of rapid technological advancement, applying modern digital methods of modeling, computer-aided design, and system analysis. In the long term, the department aims to become an active participant in national and international scientific and technical programs, contributing to the strengthening of national defense capabilities and the integration of Ukrainian science and education into the global engineering community.
