The Museum of the Revolution of Dignity, with the support of partners, has organized a series of events dedicated to the memory of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred – citizens who died eleven years ago in the struggle for freedom on Maidan in Kyiv. The events will continue until the end of March 2025. Among the events: exhibitions, musical and poetic actions, screenings of documentary films, excursions, and more. This year, the memory of the feat of the Heavenly Hundred is honored under the slogan: “Heavenly Hundred: Heroes of the First Victory in the Ongoing Battle.” The program of events can be downloaded here: link. February 20, 2025, marked eleven years since the mass shootings of the Heavenly Hundred on Maidan in Kyiv. On this day of mourning, millions of Ukrainians honored the memory of citizens who died during the Revolution of Dignity in the struggle for the ideals of democracy, human rights and freedoms, and the European future of Ukraine. Thanks to them, the course of our country’s history was changed, and the Day of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred was established. In addition, 11 years ago, Russian aggression against Ukraine began. The feat of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred is of great significance in today’s full-scale war, inspiring our defenders to fight against the invaders and giving confidence in the overall Victory. For the Day of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, the National Memorial Complex of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred – Museum of the Revolution of Dignity, with the support of partners, organized about fifteen events dedicated to the tragic date of our country. Among them: exhibitions, musical and poetic actions, screenings of documentary films, excursions, and more. The memory of the feat of the Heavenly Hundred in 2025 is honored under the slogan: “Heavenly Hundred: Heroes of the First Victory in the Ongoing Battle.” The program of events of the National Memorial Complex of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred continues until the end of March 2025.
