On November 27–28, 2025, the 3rd International Student Scientific and Practical Conference “Appropriate Solutions for Gaps in Pharmacy: According to European Priorities” was held at the National University “Lviv Polytechnic” in a mixed format.
The organizers of the conference are the Department of Technology of Biologically Active Compounds, Pharmacy and Biotechnology of the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies of Lviv Polytechnic and the Department of Organization and Economics of Pharmacy of the State Non-Profit Enterprise “Danylo Halytskyi Lviv National Medical University”.
The purpose of the conference will be to discuss current problems and disseminate European experience in implementing the best practices of pharmacy and pharmaceutical biotechnology and bioengineering; to form systemic knowledge through the study of informational, socio-economic, legal, logistical, qualification and neuroeconomic aspects of these practices; to promote excellence in teaching and research; to provide the target audience with skills for professional communication with people with special needs; establishing contacts and developing cooperation between students of the National University “Lviv Polytechnic” and students of higher education institutions of Ukraine and other countries.
The members of the Program Committee addressed the conference participants with welcoming words:
- Head of the Department of Technology of Biologically Active Compounds, Pharmacy and Biotechnology of the Institute of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor Vira Lubenetsky;
- Rector of the National Pharmaceutical University (Kharkiv), Professor Oleksandr Kukhtenko;
- Head of the Department of Organization and Economics of Pharmacy of the Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University, Professor Bohdan Gromovyk;
- Head of the Department of Organic Synthesis and Pharmaceutical Technologies of NTU “KhPI” Professor Oksana Strilets;
- Professor of the Department of Organic Synthesis and Pharmaceutical Technologies of NTU “KhPI” Professor Leonid Strelnikov and other members of the Program Committee.
The conference program included various events:
- a master class on the topic “First aid for injuries and rules for triaging victims under martial law in Ukraine”, conducted by Margarita Bogomolova, a paramedic of the evacuation team of the Mobile Hospital of the Lviv Military Medical Clinical Center of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine;
- a public lecture on the topic “GMP in cosmetics production: standards that create trust and quality” by Nadiya Dilay, a candidate of pharmaceutical sciences, cosmetologist, cosmetologist, co-founder and director of the cosmetics company ED Cosmetics, a Ukrainian brand of modern cosmetics with its own production;
- a public lecture “Building a career together with Podorozhnyk Start”, conducted by Inna Shergey, head of the department for work with higher education institutions of the Podorozhnyk pharmacy chain.
The conference was attended by 4th year higher education students of specialty 226 “Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy” Burdin Oleg and Bryukhovetsky Artem, as well as the head of the OSFT department, professor Strelets O.P. and professor of the OSFT department Strelnikov L.S.
The main attention of the conference was focused on the reports of students and postgraduates of higher education institutions of Ukraine and abroad.
