On November 18-19, 2025, the XIIІ International Scientific and Practical Conference “CHEMISTRY, BIO- AND PHARMACEUTICAL TECHNOLOGIES, ECOLOGY AND ECONOMICS IN THE FOOD, COSMETIC AND PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY” was held at the Department of Organic Synthesis and Pharmaceutical Technologies.

The event was attended by more than 150 scientists and educators, higher education students, practical workers in the chemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and cosmetic industries of Ukraine and abroad.

The topics of the reports covered a wide range of issues:

Medicines and new products based on biologically active substances of synthetic and natural origin.
Search for new types of chemical, bio- and nano-raw materials for the chemical, pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic industries.
Environmental and economic problems in the chemical industry, the creation and use of medicines, food and cosmetics.
Solving technological problems in the introduction of new medicines and products.
Training of specialists in industrial pharmacy and chemical technologies.

Representatives of Azerbaijan, Ireland, Ukraine took part in the conference. New ideas in the field of chemical, bio- and pharmaceutical technology, ecology and economics in the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries were discussed, new approaches to the organization of educational activities and the implementation of results in production, in research institutes and in educational institutions were considered.

The result of the event was a collection of abstracts of reports, which was published on the website of NTU “KhPI” (https://repository.kpi.kharkov.ua/collections/631575ff-911d-47c3-8d6f-9a4fb91f4fcd).

On November 18, 2025, as part of the XIIІ International Scientific Conference “Chemistry, Bio- and Pharmaceutical Technologies, Ecology and Economics in the Food, Cosmetic and Pharmaceutical Industries”, the Section of Young Scientists was held.

The Head of the Department of Organic Synthesis and Pharmaceutical Technologies, Professor Oksana Petrovna Strilets, delivered a welcoming speech.

The work of the section was attended by applicants from higher education institutions in Ukraine and abroad, members of the student scientific society of the Department of OSFT.

Reports were presented by master’s degree applicants and postgraduate students from the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology (Dnipro), Lviv Polytechnic National University (Lviv), Dundalk Institute of Technology Dublin Road (Ireland) and the National Technical University “KhPI”.

Such scientific meetings of young scientists motivate applicants to further research and confirm the important role of youth science in forming quality solutions for the development of science.
