Entrance examinations for admission to PhD studies in 2026 are conducted in the form of the EVI (Unified Entrance Exam) and EVV (Unified Professional Entrance Exam), administered by the UCOQA, and a specialty exam (administered by NTU “Khpi”).
The following results may be used for the competitive selection: – EVI of 2026, 2025, or 2024; – EVV of 2026 or 2025.
The minimum combined score for the EVI General Academic Competence Test and the EVI Foreign Language Test must be at least 300 points.
EVV is a form of external assessment of an applicant’s proficiency in scientific research methodology for the third (educational-scientific) level of higher education. EVI is a form of external assessment of an applicant’s readiness for the second (Master’s) or third (educational-scientific) level of higher education, which combines a General Academic Competence Test and a Foreign Language Test (English, German, French, or Spanish, at the applicant’s choice).
Registration for the EVI / EVV begins on April 23, 2026. Registration will be conducted by the Admissions Committee of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Social and Humanitarian Technologies at NTU “Khpi.”
