Successful PhD Dissertation Defenses at the Department of Project Management in Information Technology! 

On June 17, 2026, dissertation defenses for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the specialty 122 – Computer Science took place at the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”.

The following doctoral candidates of the Department of Project Management in Information Technology successfully presented and defended their research:

🔹 Vladyslav Maliarenko
Dissertation topic: “Models, Methods, and Intelligent Technologies for Processing Textual Business Rules in Decision Support Systems.”
Scientific supervisor – Olha Cherednichenko, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor.

🔹 Volodymyr Moskalenko
Dissertation topic: “Models and Information Technology for Strategic Analysis to Support Product Strategy Development in IT Companies.”
Scientific supervisor – Maryna Hrynchenko, Candidate of Technical Sciences (PhD), Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Project Management in Information Technology.

During the defenses, the candidates demonstrated a high level of scientific expertise, presented significant research results, and highlighted the practical value of their proposed models, methods, and information technologies. The dissertations addressed relevant topics in the field of Computer Science, including intelligent processing of textual business rules, decision support systems, and strategic analysis for IT companies.
