Seminar “Recognition of the authenticity of banknotes (world currencies)”

On 05.02.2026, Associate Professor of the Department of Law, Gaevaya O.V., attended the seminar “Recognition of the authenticity of banknotes (world currencies)” in Poznan (Poland), and received a certificate upon completion.
As part of the study of the educational component of the disciplines of the Department of Law “Legal Regulation of the EU Internal Market”; “Legal Regulation of Innovation Activities”; “Legal Support of Customs Activities”, this information and knowledge of this material fully correspond to the modern realities of life and can be applied in the specified courses.
The seminar addressed the following issues:
1. Coin protection system;
2. Methods of protecting banknotes;
3. Handling used and damaged banknotes;
4. Fast and effective methods of recognizing authenticity when counting banknotes and coins;
5.Recognizing the authenticity of banknotes and coins visually, by touch, using magnifying glasses, lamps, and devices with electronic protective identification – practical classes.
