On May 20, 2026, a round table “Artificial Intelligence and the University of the Future” was held at NTU “KhPI” within the framework of the Days of Science.
The following gave reports:
N. Babkova, Head of the Department of Intelligent Computer Systems “Personalization of AI at the University: Memory, Context, and Responsible Decision”;
E. Kupriyanov, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Intelligent Computer Systems “Practice of using Gemini chatbots in the educational process”;
V. Malikov, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Studies, Cultural Studies and History of Science “Ethical Aspects of the Use of AI in Scientific Work”.
The issues discussed by the speakers aroused interest among the roundtable participants. Throughout the event, the discussion continued, with questions being asked about the use of AI in the educational process by both teachers and students, how AI will be controlled and by whom, what are the criteria for using AI in scientific work, and other equally important questions.
The round table “Artificial Intelligence and the University of the Future” was actively attended by lecturers of the Department of Law G. Gariaeva, O. Gaevaya, L. Perevalova, M. Tkachev and other employees of the department.
