Nataliia SHMATKO, director of the Spark startup center of KhPI NTU, took part in the “Univentre” conference from YEP startup accelerator and the University of Tartu, which took place on March 11.
Panel discussion on the topic “Environment for spin-offs in universities” was held with the participation of Trina Löve (Pre-incubation Lead, UT Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation) and Ivan Novosyolov (higher education marketer at Zhytomyr Polytechnic); a panel discussion on success stories from spin-offs/startups was held with the participation of Kai-Melli Kapten (Founder of Transful, geaduate of UT pre-incubation) and Oleksiy Solntseva (SmartZavod); as well as a panel discussion on the topic of Academia entrepreneurship from a business perspective with the participation of Kristina Lillo (SEB Bank Estonia, Innovation Lead in Cooperation with Academia) and Ksenia Semenova (Vice Chancellor at NAU).
