Meeting of the Department’s Student Research Group

A meeting of the Student Research Group was held at the Department of Thermal Engineering and Energy Efficient Technologies of NTU “KhPI”. During the meeting, students presented reports on current topics in thermal power engineering and energy-efficient technologies.

The presentations covered a range of topics, all related to practical engineering issues. The participants discussed the operation of a condensing and cooling system at a thermal power plant, the use of solar collectors and photovoltaic panels, the application of thermal imaging cameras for inspecting energy facilities, and the operation of a biofuel-fired boiler house. The discussion focused on technical solutions, energy saving, equipment reliability, environmental aspects, and the feasibility of implementing modern technologies under real operating conditions.

Such meetings give students the opportunity to work with professional information, prepare public presentations, ask technical questions, and discuss engineering solutions in a professional environment.

The Department will continue to support student research initiatives and invites students to take part in the work of the research group.
