Oleksii Chervonyi (group E-522a), a student of the Department, was awarded second place at the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the discipline “Energy Management” within the Thermal Engineering track.
The Olympiad took place on April 14–15, 2026 and was organized by the Departments of Power Supply and Thermal and Alternative Energy at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
Industry stakeholders were also actively involved in the event, including the Association of Energy Auditors of Ukraine, DTEK Renewables, Viessmann, and others. They delivered a series of webinars for participants and organized creative competitions.
Participation in such an event provides valuable experience for students: it offers an opportunity to assess their level of professional training, broaden their outlook, engage with industry representatives, and gain insight into current trends in the energy sector.
