On February 18, 2026, representatives of the Department of Tourism and Hotel and Restaurant Business of NTU “KhPI” joined the guest lecture “Innovative Tourism Products and Trends in Tourism Development in Ukraine“, which was held by Candidate of Geographical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Tourism of NU “Lviv Polytechnic” Larisa Vitaliivna TEODOROVYCH.
This guest lecture was held as a result of partnership between the Department of Tourism and Regional Development of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas and personally the Head of the Department of Tourism of IFNTUNG Yaroslava KOROBEYNIKOVA.
During the lecture, the speaker Larysa TEODOROVYCH comprehensively outlined the current trends in Ukrainian tourism, general development vectors, emphasized the importance of using innovative products and using modern methods of activating tourism. These include the trends of digitalization, virtual and augmented reality, 3D tours, and promotion in social networks, which, when used comprehensively, will give impetus to the accelerated development of tourist locations and territories.
